Welcome to our portal! For the use of the Arolsen Archives online portal, the same terms of use apply as to a visit to the archive in Bad Arolsen. These terms of use were established by the Arolsen Archives’s international commission, which is its highest governing body, and do not correspond to German or other national archive law.

Please note that this portal on victims of Nazi persecution contains sensitive data on identified and identifiable persons. This may include data on religious affiliation, origins, state of health, sexual orientation, worldview, membership in unions or parties, or entries in criminal records.

As a user of this portal, you are personally responsible for respecting privacy rights and other laws, the interests of third parties and other persons concerned, and generally recognized practices relating to personal data. The Arolsen Archives cannot be held responsible for publications of third parties published through the use of its collections.

Please contact us if you, for example as a relative of a persecution victim, do not consent to the publication of certain personal data for legitimate reasons.
